About the Rate Increase:

CPS Energy is seeking approval of a 3.85% rate increase from the Board of Trustees and San Antonio City Council. If approved by the Board of Trustees and San Antonio City Council, the rate increase would go into effect March 1, 2022, and generate approximately $73 million a year for CPS Energy to make investments in the following areas:

• Infrastructure resiliency
• Technology
• Growth
• Employee recruitment and retention
