Dr. Sandi Wolff, SAHCC Head of Strategic Relations and Membership

SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 9, 2021) – The 2021 year is starting strong for the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC) when, earlier this week, they announced Dr. Sandi Wolff as the Head of Strategic Relations and Membership of the 91-year-old organization. Dr. Wolff has contributed to the San Antonio community for over 30 years, and brings deep experience from her time in education, community and student relations, marketing, public affairs, non-profit education, business development, and governmental affairs to the role.

“The San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome Dr. Sandi Wolff to our growing team as we launch our 2021 strategic initiatives to propel our beloved Hispanic Chamber into our new era of success,” said Marina Gonzales, SAHCC President and CEO. “Dr. Wolff’s impressive experience and leadership in our community will contribute greatly to help navigate our members through the ongoing effects of this pandemic.”

Most recently, Dr. Wolff was the head of Strategic Relations for Catamount Constructors, a national general contractor specializing in high-performing and high-quality construction in the retail, industrial, healthcare, restaurant, senior living, and office industries. She has worked for over 15 years in education and over 20 years in corporate settings. Dr. Wolff was the Community Relations Director for Linebarger Attorneys at Law, and prior to that, the Governmental Affairs and Economic Development Manager at San Antonio Water System. She also served in non-profit education as the VP of Education for KLRN, San Antonio’s local PBS station.

“I love our community and how the Hispanic Chamber has helped shape it. I’m thrilled to join this talented team at a crucial time to support San Antonio through economic recovery towards a prosperous future,” said Dr. Wolff. “My career has allowed me to work in public, private, government, and education roles and working with the Hispanic Chamber has always been a part of each job. I am proud to help continue the positive work of the Hispanic Chamber to advocate and support the people and businesses of our community.”

Hiring Dr. Wolff was just one of many initiatives that the SAHCC has implemented as part of an overall strategy of 2021 developmental goals. Just a few months prior, they also hired experienced candidates to fill the Director of Marketing & Communications, Chief of Staff, and Director of Policy & Business Advocacy positions. Like most businesses and organizations in San Antonio, after experiencing the effects of the 2020 pandemic, this year the SAHCC is looking forward to a year of recovery and improvement.
