SAN ANTONIO, November 15, 2021 –-Every ethnic group in America meets or exceeds their demographic percentage in mainstream entertainment with the exception of Latinos.
Currently Latinos are approximately twenty percent of the population and yet Latinos presence as lead characters in mainstream entertainment is less than five percent, and in cinema Latinos are nearly invisible. Even though there are a couple of truly high profile Latina working actresses like Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria, Hollywood has made Latinos the outcasts.
As a community, Latinos need to begin building momentum in elevating Latino talent to principal roles, as Hollywood has proven for almost ten decades their system is not going to do it without push back.
Producer Shed has launched a
campaign advocating to have Mario Lopez considered as the new James Bond.
Please join us in signing a petition to be presented to the producers of the James Bond films, Barbara Broccoli and Michel G. Wilson of EON Productions should we get sufficient signatures.

It's time to change the Hollywood system.
